why I'm against age play

At the end of the day, this fetish relies on the séxualization of children. They always try to excuse it by saying "it's between two consenting adults," but even if all you're sexualizing is the CONCEPT of children, that's still bad. It still makes the world that much more dangerous for children to live in.

Not to mention the amount of age regressors that get targeted by this community. There's so many regressors who have had their safe space séxualized by someone because of this fétish. I know it's not everyone in the community, but it's enough for us to worry. Plus, sometimes outsiders of both of these topics will see an age regressor using a pacifier, wearing a diaper, playing with their toys, etc. and assume they're apart of some fétish since the fétish community is the more well-known one. This also makes the world less safe for age regressors.

I've also seen people argue that this fétish séxualizes people who need a caregiver due to a disability of some sort, and that they shouldn't even use the word "caregiver" in their fétish, and I agree with this. Similarly, the term "little" originated from DID systems, so the amount of people who call themselves "littles" when referring to their fétish or calling it their "little space" is also genuinely sad. And adult diapers are used by people who are incontinent- it's sad that they're so séxualized by this community as well, as well as just the concept of being incontinent.

Also, I want you to imagine that you do something séxual every time you hear a specific song or look at a specific flower. It might not be a séxual thing at first, but after a while of including it in these behaviors, you'll be thinking séxually or even feeling arouséd just by seeing that flower or hearing that song in public. Applying this to age play, DDLG, ABDL, CGL, whatever you want to call it, is genuinely scary. If you call your partner daddy, talk in a childish voice, and use a pacifier during séx, eventually there's a chance that seeing a child use a pacifier, talk the way they do, or call their parent "daddy" will turn you on or at very least, make you think about séx. I know this probably doesn't happen to every single person who partakes in this fétish, but even if it's just a few, it's still gross.
